Reference (baseline) data relevant to the program are provided in Appendix 1. The program also includes a detailed description of the monitoring methods. For each element, the program sets out background information, the purpose of the monitoring and the deliverables which are produced as a result of the monitoring. This monitoring program addresses a number of distinct elements of groundwater monitoring. ![]() Groundwater monitoring is undertaken for the purpose of quantifying changes to the groundwater system as a result of operations, assessing the performance of the control measures used to limit these impacts, and to meet relevant legal and other requirements. 29ģ of Scope This monitoring program describes the environmental monitoring activities undertaken by Hunter Valley Energy Coal (HVEC) Pty Ltd in relation to groundwater resources at the Mt Arthur Coal Mine. ![]() 6 Figure 2: Groundwater Quality Monitoring Locations Figure A3.1: Interim Groundwater Monitoring Locations (also shows monitoring bores to be decommissioned as red points). 9 Table 3: Groundwater Level Impact Assessment Criteria Trigger Values Table 4: Groundwater Quality Monitoring Locations Table 5: Groundwater Quality Monitoring Schedule Table 6: Groundwater Quality Impact Assessment Criteria Trigger Values Table A1.1: Reference (Baseline) Groundwater Monitoring Data Table A1.2: Privately-owned Groundwater Bores Table A3.1: Interim Groundwater Monitoring Schedule Table A3.2: Interim Groundwater Level Monitoring Locations Table A3.3: Interim Groundwater Quality Monitoring Locations Figures Figure 1: Groundwater Level Monitoring Locations. 7 Table 2: Groundwater Level Monitoring Schedule. And note that Garmin has its own touchscreen cellphone/PND-the nvifone-in the works, and Navionics just announced its own iPhone charting app.1 MAC-ENC-PRO-062 GROUNDWATER MONITORING PROGRAM Document Owner Michael Gale, Superintendent Environment Analysis and Improvement Document Approver Sarah Withell, Head of Health, Safety and Environment Version No Date Published Details Version 1 20 August 2012 Approved by the Department of Planning & Infrastructure on. The application is also fodder for the analysts who think Garmin should be nervous about Apple, much like the big marine electronics players are nervous about Garmin (see column). One of my regular blog correspondents has thoroughly tested-and likes-all of iNavX's features. The trick is using the iPhone's WiFi capability to get information like depth, wind, and AIS targets from onboard navigation programs like MacENC and several others which can output it that way. It will not only plot your position on free NOAA raster charts, which are automatically downloaded as needed, and which have able waypoint and routing functions available, but it can even display data well beyond the scope of most handheld personal navigation devices (PNDs). You may have heard that Apple's new 3G iPhone includes a GPS but did you know that someone has already developed a good $50 marine navigation program for it? iNavX is the work of the same development team that built the well-regarded GPSNavX and MacENC charting programs, and it shows.
